Central Saint Martins MA Fashion 2012-13 A/W Collection

 

これはCentral Saint Martinsという学校のMA Fashionコースのショー。

This is a collection by the MA course at Central Saint Martins.  

既に世に出ているデザイナーのショーも面白いけど、スチューデントのショーはもっと面白い。

なぜなら商業的なことを考えずにショーを構成できるから。

他とはショーの目的がそもそも違う。

そのおかげで、そのまま着て出かけられる服もたくさんあるけど、顔をすっぽり覆ってしまったり、アンリアルな服も多い。

クチュールのようなたいそうな技術のルックは作れないにしても、デザイナー達は自由に自分を表現できるし、だからこそ見ていて素直にWow!ってなる。

Although the famous designers' collections are nice, students' collections are more interesting because they don't need to be commercial.
Their aims are different.
So this show can include many unreal looks.

they mightn't have a technique to create things like a couture, but they can express theirselves without any commercial thoughts.
That's why they can simply make me wow!
